Metinvest health center for children opened the recreation season - 2013 in Yenakievo. During this summer nearly 400 children will become residents of V. Dubinin cosy, country center of rest and recreation, located in oak wood. During two years Zdravitsa plus LLC, Metinvest Group, has been providing a good rest for children from Yenakievo, Makiivka and Khartsyzsk. Recreation package cost for Group employees’ children amounted to UAH 195.
During 79th recreation season V. Dubinin country center of rest and recreation will work in two shifts. Traditionally each shift has its own concept. President of Ukraine proclaimed Year 2013 as the year of Creativity of children and youth. While realizing the decision made by the Head of the State, teachers of Yenakievo health center called the first shift as “Summer time factory”.
“Every party is a creative shop, - mentioned Alla Turchina, Director of the health center. – Teachers and children chose a type of decorative and applied arts, which they will master during three weeks. This year we specified and extend our creative concept. So children will master their skills in origami, quilling and decoupage. Patchwork, felting and thread graphic classes will enhance their skills in using thread and fabric. Tourists will be attracted by geocaching, aiming at cache identification using maps and navigators”.
Along with these new directions, children can also attend their favourite classes in choreography, tourism, aerobics as well as vocal trainings. Water activities will be organized in two modern swimming pools, which were constructed by Yenakiieve Steel in 2010. Health center activities will be covered by Case and Kо newspaper, issued by Journalist Club. In order to supply children with energy and inspiration, the nutrition will be rendered 5 times per day.
Annually 30 skilled tutors provide leisure time for children. Highly qualified medical staff of Yenakievo municipal hospital looks after health of children. Medical care office of this center is equipped with all necessary equipment and medicines for rehabilitation and emergency actions.
Material and technical resources of health center are annually improved. This year one of the buildings at Sunny side has been upgraded, namely new windows were installed and the walls were covered with siding. One of the buildings at Woody side got new shed, which will protect from sun and rain.
It should be noted, that V. Dubinin country center of rest and recreation entered in top 40 best recreation centers for children in Donetsk region. According to the results of Summer-2010 recreation season, rendered by Donetsk Region Council of trade unions, Yenakievo health center took the 4th place. Tutors of V. Dubinin center received the honorary certificate “Honour and Dignity” as well as special award “Zolotoye Sozvezdie” (Golden Constellation) for high professionalism and active role in recreation of children.

In 2012 BF No.3 was acknowledged as the best industrial facility in Ukraine according to the competition by Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine.
For the second time Yenakiieve Steel implements in its towns of its presence (Yenakiievo and Makiivka) the “We improve our town with our own hands” social programme. The allocated funds amounted to USD 500 th. for 2011-2012. In 2012 Yenakiieve Steel management and local authorities of Yenakievo and Makiivka signed “Town-Works” social and economic development agreement, aimed at creating comfortable living conditions for citizens. In 2013 Metinvest plans to invest UAH 7 mln. in social infrastructure development of the towns.
