At the Transport Shop of Yenakiieve Steel Mankiivka Branch track facilities overhaul is on the uptick. Within the framework of this activity company management decided to replace more than thousands of meters of railway track and six railroad switches in total amount of UAH 1.5m.
All maintenance activities will allow trains movements safety enhancing, rolling stock throughput and speed rising both at sections between Severnaya — Yasinovataya stations, and at the stations themselves.
Railway track sections to be replaced are obsolete because of age and their long-lasting operation. Last overhaul of track facilities was performed almost 20 years ago. Yenakiieve Steel Makiivka Branch specialists have already replaced four railroad switches and 128 meters of railway track next to them at Severnaya station.
Planned works termination is scheduled by August 2012.
