A new «Foton» front loader extended the Motor Transport Shop of Makiivka branch of Yenakiieve Steel, Metinvest Group. The machine is equipped with a low-consumption engine, efficient hydraulic equipment and is characterised through high load capacity. Front loader price amounted to UAH 408k.
The new high-capacity «Foton» front loader is designed for loading and transportation of bulk-materials, equipment, spare parts and raw materials. It can be also used for snow and ice removal. Owing to its high load capacity which amounts up to four tonnes, the loader can be successfully used for scrap removal while dismantling activities. The cabin is equipped with an air conditioner and the modern control panel fitted with large amount of sensors. Fuel economy during the operation totals approximately to 20%.
“It was difficult to provide transportation of large amount of raw materials effectively as we used to have only one loader for the whole Motor Transport Shop at Makiivka Works - highlights Aleksandr Sukhanov, Head of the Motor Transport Shop of Makiivka branch of PJSC Yenakiieve Steel. – The new front loader provides an essential help for many of the shops, as for Material Resources Supply Shop with bulk material loading or for Railway Transport Shop while major overhaul of the railway track. And it totally replaced a clamshell crane for slag loading.”
