Quality Management System (QMS) of Yenakiieve Steel, Metinvest Group, was recognised as highly efficient. Such positive assessment was obtained from CARES, UK Certification Authority for Reinforcing Steel, under the reassessment process, conducted at the enterprise last week. Following the audit results, Yenakiieve Steel QMS was approved for the compliance with British standard BS EN ISO 9001:2008 requirements. The validity of certificate was extended till 2014.
The UK auditors thoroughly studied the reinforcing steels production process and analysed all Quality Management System procedures. Besides, under this audit UK experts noted a high level of personnel qualification and corporative standards at Yenakiieve Steel: “At Yenakiieve Steel the QMS is not only in compliance with all requirements of the Standard, but is being improved continuously. All management and control systems function properly”, emphasized Matt Palmer, CARES auditor.

The Quality Management System, implemented at our enterprise, already shows good results, which is verified by international standards”.
It should be mentioned that Yenakiieve Steel collaborates with CARES since 2008. The UK agency certifies the Quality Management System as well as the concast billet production technology, for compliance with the requirements of British standard BS EN ISO9001:2008.
