PJSC Yenakiieve Steel is a fully integrated Iron and Steel company, incorporated the following production areas.

Major Shops:

Sinter and Iron Production comprises the following stages:

  • Sinter Plant
  • Blast Furnace Shop with casting machines area
  • Metallurgical Slag and Metal Scrap Processing and Preparation Administration

Steelmaking:

  • Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) Shop
  • Lime and Refractory Shop

Rolling Area is represented by Rolling Shop.

The company comprises 2 transport subunits:

  • Railway Transport Administration
  • Motor Transport Shop

Major Production Shops are supplied with utilities by means of the following production facilities, namely Power Administration Shops: Oxygen Shop, Combined Heat and Power Station, Gas Shop, Networks and Substations Shop.

Repair and Maintenance Administration, comprised of Technological Equipment Maintenance Shop, 3 Metallurgical Equipment Maintenance Shops, Metallurgical Furnaces Maintenance Shop, Mechanical Shop, is in charge of equipment maintenance and repairs carrying out.

Makiivka Branch of PJSC Yenakiieve Steel is a standalone nonintegrated steelmaking business unit of Yenakiieve Steel Group, specialised in sections and shapes production.

Makiivka Branch comprises Rolling Shop and a range of Shops for Production Process support. Products are rolled at Medium Section Mill "390" and Rod Mill "150".

Mill 390 is the most state-of-the-industry rolling unit in Ukraine. Annual Capacity amounts to 720 Ktonnes of finished rolled products. Mill’s special feature is “SLITTING” rolling of rebar steel No. 8-16 into two and four lines. The mill’s product mix is represented by the following: rounds diam. 12 - 60 mm; angles 25 - 63 mm with wing gauge of 3-6 mm; channels No.5-8, rebars – No.8 - No.36; strips and other special shapes. Heat Hardening line enables to produce rebar with a strength grade up to А800. Straightening and bundling machines ensure high-quality rolled products output and packing. Mill control is the utmost automated process. One of the up-to-date Siemens VAI solution, Process Control System «Simatic - 7», was introduced at Mill 390.

Continuous Two-Strand Rod Mill 150 was commissioned in 1994. The Rod Mill is specialised in wire rod Ø5.5 mm up to Ø12.0mm in coils production. Maximum rolling speed - 100 m/s. Design capacity allows the production rates at the level of 1 M tonnes of the finished products.
